Southwark for Jesus is a forum for Churches in Southwark. It is run by and for pastors, project leaders and church members from across the London Borough of Southwark who identify closely with one another in order to

Transform Southwark through Unity in Prayer and Action.

Southwark is a borough of over 270,000 people, which is larger than many towns in the UK. There are over 250 churches in the borough, some large some small. SFJ runs a borough wide Steering Group that facilitates the many borough initiatives, and connects local networks of pastors, ministers and other church leaders that meet for prayer and mutual support in different parts of the borough. There are several local networks that meet across the borough, and members of each of these form the steering group. We also come together monthly at various churches for Southwark Leader's Prayer

So exactly what are churches doing to see Southwark Transformed? Watch this 9 minute video profiling just a few of the projects expressing our vision of united prayer and action

We seek to facilitate the people of Southwark in their Christian service so that Southwark might experience a spiritual and social transformation in every walk of life; in families, schools, law, media, health-care, businesses, local government and the arts.
